Bills sign QB Flynn

The Buffalo Bills signed quarterback Matt Flynn to the 53-man roster Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Flynn was recently released by the Oakland Raiders, becoming a free agent, and worked out for the Bills earlier on Monday.
In the last two seasons, Flynn lost starting jobs in Seattle and Oakland to first-time starters Russell Wilson (Seahawks) and Terrelle Pryor (Raiders).
The Raiders acquired Flynn from Seattle in April.
The LSU product was a seventh-round draft choice of the Green Bay Packers in 2008 and spent his first four years in the NFL there.
In three career starts, Flynn has completed 76 of 113 passes for 958 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions for a 111.9 passer rating. He has appeared in 39 games with totals of 109 completions, 1,329 passing yards and 10 touchdowns.
The Bills are hurting at quarterback.
An MRI revealed Monday that Thad Lewis has a mild foot sprain and he is day-to-day, according to NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk.
Lewis, promoted from the practice squad last week to start against the Cincinnati Bengals, threw two touchdown passes and ran for another in the Bills' overtime loss. Lewis was injured late in the game and he was replaced by Jeff Tuel.
The Bills will be without first-round draft pick E.J. Manuel for a few more weeks as he recovers from a knee injury.
The Bills also announced that defensive back Jonathan Meeks was placed on injured reserve/designated for return. He is eligible to return to practice six weeks and to the active list in eight weeks
