Bills re-sign DT Ross

The Buffalo Bills re-signed defensive tackle Jay Ross on Tuesday two weeks after he was originally released to fill the void created when Adam Carrington was placed on injured reserve with a torn quadriceps tendon.
Ross was released as the result of a numbers crunch when cornerback Johnny Adams was promoted from the practice squad. He spent the offseason with the team and has been active for one NFL game in his three seasons since graduating from East Carolina. Ross spent parts of both 2011 and 2012 shifting between the Bills practice squad and active roster.
There was no word on whether Ross would be active for Sunday's game against Baltimore. Corbin Bryant is expected to pick up most of the snaps in Carrington's absence.
Buffalo also made a change on its practice squad, signing defensive end Adewale Ojomo and releasing defensive end Izaan Cross.
Ojomo played in one game with the New York Giants in 2012 and spent parts of this season on the practice squads of the Giants and the Seattle Seahawks
