Adams, who was nursing a knee injury, was denied in his pursuit for a pair of franchise records as the Packers (6-8-1) host the Lions (5-10) on Sunday (1 p.m. ET). The 26-year-old Adams has enjoyed a brilliant fifth season with Green Bay, setting career highs with 111 receptions for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Dec 28 2018 - Davante Adams
WR Davante Adams' pursuit of two franchise records could be derailed by a knee injury. Adams missed practice again Friday due to the ailing knee, putting his status in jeopardy for Sunday's regular-season finale against the visiting Detroit Lions. Packers interim coach Joe Philbin told reporters Friday that "we'll have to wait to see" on whether Adams will be available to face the Lions. The team will gauge Adams' condition at Saturday's practice. Adams has enjoyed a brilliant fifth season with Green Bay, setting career highs with 111 receptions for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Dec 27 2018 - Evan Baylis
TE Evan Baylis was signed by the Packers to their practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 26). He had been waived by the Panthers Sept. 1.   WR Randall Cobb, who is sixth in Packers history with 469 receptions, will be a free agent at season's end. He missed last week's game at the Jets with a concussion and did not practice on Wednesday. "I think Cobb is absolutely very dynamic, very explosive," Lions head coach Matt Patricia said. "He's a playmaker, somebody who just does a great job of getting open in critical situations. He's a go-to player, very well trusted by the quarterback." Rookie receiver Equanimeous St. Brown, who has taken some of Cobb's snaps, also is in the concussion protocol.

Dec 26 2018 - Davante Adams
WR Davante Adams, who ranks among NFL leaders with 111 receptions, 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns, did not practice Wednesday because of a knee injury suffered in last week's game. Dec 21 2018 - Aaron Rodgers
QB Aaron Rodgers practiced all week despite knee and groin injuries, but the Packers did not list him on the injury report on Friday and said he will start against the New York Jets on Sunday. As long as Doc says I'm good and he's confident in me going out there and playing with it, I'm playing." The Packers' other starting defensive linemen, Mike Daniels and Muhammad Wilkerson, already are on injured reserve.

Dec 19 2018 - Aaron Rodgers
QB Aaron Rodgers, who has been dealing with a knee injury all season and injured his groin in the first half of last week's loss at Chicago, is expected to be the starting quarterback against the Jets. He plans to play even though Green Bay is eliminated from playoff consideration. Rodgers said, "I think it's a lot about leadership. If I want to be listened to and followed and looked up to, how could I stand here and say that these games that don't matter for playoffs, I'm going to cash it in? That's just not the way I lead, and I'm super competitive, and I want to be out there with the guys, and I look forward to being out there."

Dec 19 2018 - Aaron Rodgers
QB Aaron Rodgers (groin) practiced on Wednesday, but interim head coach Joe Philbin would not say if he will play Sunday against the New York Jets. "I'm hopeful he's going to practice, and I'm hopeful he's going to play," Philbin said, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, who added that Rodgers was on the field for the open portion on practice on Wednesday and took the initial reps with the first-team offense. The Packers placed running back Aaron Jones on injured reserve with a knee injury, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, but apparently they plan for Rodgers to keep playing. "I think when you sign up for the 2018 NFL season, you sign up for a 16-game season and hopefully you earn the opportunity to extend that and to compete for a championship," the 57-year-old Philbin said, via ESPN. Backup quarterback DeShone Kizer would get the nod on Sunday (1 p.m. ET) should the Packers opt to keep the 35-year-old Rodgers on the sideline against the Jets (4-10).
