 Latest Packers Player Notes
May 16 2017 - Vince Biegel
LB Vince Biegel broke the fifth metatarsal in his foot, and the rookie is expected to miss all of spring camp. Biegel, a fourth-round selection out of Wisconsin, underwent surgery last week for the same injury he suffered as a senior at Wisconsin, ESPN reported, citing sources. Green Bay is hopeful the 23-year-old Biegel can return for the start of training camp in late July.

Apr 27 2017 - Jahri Evans
G Jahri Evans signed a one-year contract with the Green Bay Packers. Financial terms were not disclosed on the deal, which was announced Wednesday. Evans, an unrestricted free agent, started all 16 games for New Orleans last season and 169 contests in all since being picked by the Saints in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL draft.

Mar 27 2017 - Makinton Dorleant
CB Makinton Dorleant was arrested over the weekend following an incident involving Bears cornerback Deiondre' Hall at a bar in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Dorleant, 24, was cited for interference after authorities said he approached officers "in a threatening manner" following Hall's arrest. He and Hall were teammates at Northern Iowa.

Mar 14 2017 - Davon House
CB Davon House is returning to the Packers on a one-year deal reportedly worth $3.5 million. House agreed to the deal while on a free agent visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers, per NFL Network. The Packers reportedly wanted to keep House, who played his four NFL seasons in Green Bay from 2011-14, before he signed a four-year, $24.5 million deal with the Jaguars in 2015. Last season, House recorded just 13 tackles over 16 games (four starts) with the Jags.

Mar 10 2017 - Nick Perry
OLB Nick Perry agreed to a long-term deal with the Packers, multiple outlets reported on Thursday. Multiple reports said the deal is worth $60 million over five years. Perry recorded career highs in sacks (11) and tackles (52) while playing in 14 games last season after signing a one-year, $5 million deal prior to the campaign. The 26-year-old has been plagued by injury during his career in Green Bay. He missed 15 of 32 regular-season games in his first two years and played with a club on his hand for parts of 2016. Perry has collected 152 tackles and 23.5 sacks in 60 games since being selected by the Packers with the 28th overall pick of the 2012 draft.

Mar 7 2017 - Letroy Guion
DT tackle Letroy Guion was suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2017 regular season for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing drugs, the league announced Tuesday. This marks the second suspension of Guion's career. He was docked three games in 2015 after an arrest for possession of marijuana and a firearm.

Mar 6 2017 - Davon House
CB Davon House was released three days ahead of the start of free agency. House was due to make $6 million in each of the next two seasons and his release means the Jaguars now have approximately $79 million in salary cap space, ESPN.com reported. House, 27, signed a four-year, $24.5 million contract with $10 million guaranteed in March 2015.

Mar 3 2017 - Clay Matthews
LB Clay Matthews will not need surgery on his injured shoulder this offseason, according to Packers coach Mike McCarthy. The six-time Pro Bowler suffered a separated AC joint in his left shoulder after taking what he called a cheap shot from Eagles guard Allen Barbre in Week 12 on Nov. 28. The 30-yer-old Matthews, who missed four games earlier in the season because of a hamstring injury, recorded a career-low five sacks and 24 tackles in 12 games last season.

Jan 23 2017 - Quinten Rollins
CB Quinten Rollins played in this year's postseason for the first time on Sunday. The second-year starter contributed in a reserve role. He had been sidelined since suffering a neck injury and a concussion in the regular-season finale Jan. 1.

Jan 23 2017 - Morgan Burnett
S Morgan Burnett made his customary start back in his hometown Sunday. Burnett bounced back from a thigh injury that kept him out of most of the playoff victory at Dallas the previous week.

Jan 23 2017 - Davante Adams
WR Davante Adams said he played in pain throughout the NFC Championship loss at Atlanta on Sunday. Adams was a week removed from a sprained left ankle he sustained in the divisional-round win at Dallas. He was limited to three receptions for 16 yards and a touchdown Sunday.

Jan 23 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson surprised many by playing the NFC Championship on Sunday, two weeks after the team's top pass catcher suffered broken ribs. Nelson wore a protective vest and plenty of padding underneath his jersey in the 44-21 loss at the Atlanta Falcons. Despite playing in noticeable discomfort as the game wore on, Nelson was a primary target for Aaron Rodgers and had six catches for 67 yards and a touchdown in nine targets.

Jan 23 2017 - Lane Taylor
S Kentrell Brice (knee) was hurt making a tackle on the opening kickoff Sunday.

Jan 23 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson wore a Kevlar vest to protect his broken ribs. He had been listed as questionable. Nelson caught a 3-yard TD pass in the third quarter Sunday.

Jan 23 2017 - Ty Montgomery
RB Ty Montgomery (knee) went out in the third quarter Sunday.

Jan 23 2017 - Bryan Bulaga
T Bryan Bulaga left the championship game in the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a possible concussion.

Jan 23 2017 - Aaron Rodgers
QB Aaron Rodgers, who had led the Packers to eight straight victories, completed 27 of 45 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns. He was sacked twice and threw an interception in the NFC championship game loss.

Jan 19 2017 - Quinten Rollins
CB Quinten Rollins has been a limited participant in practice so far this week. The second-year starter has yet to play in the postseason because of a neck injury and a concussion. The Packers have been relying on Damarious Randall, LaDarius Gunter and Micah Hyde as their primary trio at cornerback.

Jan 19 2017 - Morgan Burnett
S Morgan Burnett has yet to practice this week, raising the possibility the veteran starter won't be available for the NFC title game at Atlanta on Sunday. Burnett suffered a thigh injury early in the win at Dallas last weekend. Undrafted rookie Kentrell Brice would be the next man up at the position.

Jan 19 2017 - Geronimo Allison
WR Geronimo Allison didn't practice for the second straight day Thursday. The rookie is nursing a hamstring injury he suffered in the divisional playoff victory at Dallas last Sunday.

Jan 19 2017 - Davante Adams
WR Davante Adams said after practice Thursday that "it will take a lot" to keep him from playing in the NFC Championship at Atlanta on Sunday. The young starter missed a second straight day of practice because of a sprained left ankle he sustained late in the divisional playoff win at the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. Adams said he was in pain as he returned to the game. Saying he's trying to rest the ankle "as much as possible" this week, Adams doesn't know if he'll be able to practice Saturday with the team off the field Friday. "Even if it doesn't feel great Saturday, I know Sunday we'll still figure out what it's feeling like," he said.

Jan 19 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson had a second straight day of limited participation on the practice field Thursday. The status of the team's most productive pass catcher this season still remains much in the air for the NFC Championship at the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Nelson hasn't played since suffering cracked ribs on his left side in the wild-card playoff win over the New York Giants on Jan. 8. Head coach Mike McCarthy was cryptic Thursday about the prognosis for Nelson as well as some of the team's other injured players. "I'm not sure how we're going to line up or who's going to line up (Sunday)," McCarthy said. "We'll hopefully have a better gauge if we think these guys are going to make it. I don't think we'll really know until Saturday."

Jan 19 2017 - Jordy Nelson
-WR Jordy Nelson had a second straight day of limited participation on the practice field Thursday. The status of the team's most productive pass catcher this season still remains much in the air for the NFC Championship Game at the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. I don't think we'll really know until Saturday."

Jan 19 2017 - Geronimo Allison
WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring) would not likely play for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday if this were a regular-season game, coach Mike McCarthy said Thursday. Yet McCarthy is holding out hope he can take the field for the NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons. Allison, an undrafted rookie from Illinois, is emerging as a trusted target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers. .

Jan 19 2017 - Davante Adams
WR Davante Adams (ankle) would not likely play for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday if this were a regular-season game, coach Mike McCarthy said Thursday. Yet McCarthy is holding out hope he can take the field for the NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons. Adams had his ankle twisted beneath him when he was tackled on a 16-yard gain late in the fourth quarter of last week's game against the Cowboys, though he returned to the game for the final drive with a hobble.

Jan 19 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson (ribs) would not likely play for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday if this were a regular-season game, coach Mike McCarthy said Thursday. Yet McCarthy is holding out hope he can take the field for the NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons. Nelson sat out last week in Dallas with broken ribs and breathing, not to mention cardiovascular activity or full-contact football, has been challenging.

Jan 18 2017 - David Bakhtiari
LT David Bakhtiari doesn't appear on the injury report this week. The fourth-year starter aggravated a knee injury in the first half of the win at Dallas last Sunday, but he returned to the game a short time later.

Jan 18 2017 - Quinten Rollins
CB Quinten Rollins had limited work in practice Wednesday. "(He's) getting close, getting close," McCarthy said. Rollins remains in the concussion protocol and also has a neck injury, which have kept the second-year starter from playing in the postseason so far.

Jan 18 2017 - Morgan Burnett
S Morgan Burnett didn't practice Wednesday, left to do rehab work. The veteran starter at strong safety suffered a quadriceps injury early in the playoff win at Dallas last Sunday and didn't play the last three quarters. Undrafted rookie Kentrell Brice filled in for Burnett and would be the likely replacement if Burnett can't play the NFC Championship at Atlanta on Sunday.

Jan 18 2017 - Geronimo Allison
WR Geronimo Allison also was held out of practice Wednesday. The rookie was included on the injury report this week with a sore hamstring that cropped up after the playoff win at Dallas on Sunday. The extent of the injury isn't known.

Jan 18 2017 - Davante Adams
WR Davante Adams joined WR Jordy Nelson in the rehab group Wednesday. McCarthy said the young starter may not practice until Saturday, a day before the NFC title game at Atlanta, because of the ankle injury Adams sustained in the 34-31 win at Dallas last Sunday. Adams returned to the game after rolling his left ankle. "I'm curious to see him move," McCarthy said.

Jan 18 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson was considered a limited participant in practice Wednesday as the Packers returned to the field in advance of the NFC Championship at the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. "I just caught some balls, tried to slowly work back to it and feel things out," Nelson said afterward. Nelson would seem to be a long shot to play just two weeks after he suffered cracked ribs in the wild-card playoff win over the New York Giants. Yet, head coach Mike McCarthy hasn't ruled out Nelson from suiting up with a spot in the Super Bowl at stake. "It's obviously a long ways away," Nelson said about the game this weekend. "I've improved every day. Hopefully, that continues."

Jan 18 2017 - Davante Adams
WR Davante Adams isn't expected to practice until the weekend as the Packers prepare for their NFC Championship Game against the host Falcons on Sunday. He sat out practice Wednesday, three days removed from sustaining an ankle injury late in the Packers' divisional-round playoff victory over the Cowboys.

Jan 17 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson (broken ribs) has "only a small chance" to play in Sunday's NFC title game against the Falcons, ESPN reports. The 31-year-old Nelson sustained two broken ribs in Green Bay's 38-13 rout of the Giants in the NFC wild-card round. "Can't tell you if Jordy's going to practice Wednesday, but he did all the work in the (regeneration) workout today," McCarthy told reporters Monday, via ESPN.com.

Jan 16 2017 - Quinten Rollins
CB Quinten Rollins didn't play the divisional-round playoff victory over the Cowboys on Sunday. The second-year starter has missed both games in the postseason so far because of a neck injury and concussion. "He's getting better." McCarthy said Monday about Rollins' status.

Jan 16 2017 - David Bakhtiari
LT David Bakhtiari briefly dropped out of the divisional-round playoff win at Dallas on Sunday. The veteran starter hobbled off to the sideline with a knee injury, when his right leg was clipped by linebacker Sean Lee as Bakhtiari blocked on a 1-yard touchdown run by Ty Montgomery in the second quarter. Rookie Jason Spriggs replaced Bakhtiari for a series before the latter returned to action late in the first half and played the rest of the game.

Jan 16 2017 - Morgan Burnett
S Morgan Burnett missed the last three quarters of the divisional-round playoff win at Dallas on Sunday because of a quadriceps injury. Undrafted rookie Kentrell Brice took over for Burnett alongside Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. McCarthy said Monday he doesn't have big concerns about Burnett's status this week. "Knowing Morgan, he'll do everything he can ...," McCarthy said about Burnett trying to play the NFC Championship in his hometown of Atlanta on Sunday.

Jan 16 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson didn't play in the 34-31 road win over the top-seeded Dallas Cowboys in the divisional round of the playoffs. Nelson, who sustained cracked ribs on his left side in the wild-card victory over the New York Giants, is said to be progressing in his recovery. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Nelson completed his rehab work Monday but wouldn't speculate on whether the team's top wideout would be able to practice when the team returns to the field Wednesday in preparation for the NFC Championship on Sunday at the Atlanta Falcons.

Jan 15 2017 - Ty Montgomery
RB Ty Montgomery had six receptions and scored on two short runs in the NFC divisional playoff game.

Jan 15 2017 - Aaron Rodgers
QB Aaron Rodgers dialed up some familiar magic to beat the Cowboys in the NFC divisional playoff game. Scrambling to his left, he rifled a 36-yard completion to Jared Cook, who dragged his toes in bounds at the 33-yard line with 3 seconds on the clock. Crosby followed with a game-winner. Rodgers finished 28 of 43 for 356 yards and two touchdowns, with an interception, despite being without leading receiver Jordy Nelson. Rodgers proved too much, continuing a run of incredible performances that began in late November. Green Bay has reeled off eight straight wins.

Jan 15 2017 - Mason Crosby
PK Mason Crosby booted a 51-yard field goal at the final gun to beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-31 Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium. "It's unreal," Crosby said. "When we have 35 seconds left on the clock and that offense can move the ball into field-goal range for a manageable kick, that's just special." Crosby is the first kicker to make two field goals 50 yards or longer in the final two minutes of a postseason game.

Jan 13 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson (ribs) was ruled out by the Packers for Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Cowboys. Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Friday that team doctors would not medically clear their top receiver to practice Saturday. Nelson has been sidelined because of cracked ribs he sustained in last Sunday's 38-13 wild-card playoff win over the Giants.

Jan 12 2017 - Blake Martinez
LB Blake Martinez practiced as a full-time participant Thursday for the second straight day. The rookie starter has bounced back from aggravating a knee injury in the wild-card victory over the Giants last Sunday. Martinez would seem to be on track to play the divisional-round game at Dallas on Sunday.

Jan 12 2017 - Jeff Janis
WR Jeff Janis was cleared to practice in limited fashion Thursday after being sidelined the previous day because of a quadriceps injury. Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Janis sustained the injury in the wild-card win over the Giants on Sunday.

Jan 12 2017 - Quinten Rollins
CB Quinten Rollins remained in the limited category for practice Thursday for the second straight day. Having Rollins on the field for some involvement in the padded practice could be taken as another step in the right direction after the young starter was subjected to the concussion protocol since he sustained a neck injury in the regular-season finale Jan. 1. More on Rollins' status for the Sunday game at Dallas won't be known until Friday.

Jan 12 2017 - Jordy Nelson
WR Jordy Nelson's status, as expected, didn't change Thursday. Coach Mike McCarthy indicated before practice that the team's top wideout would continue to do rehab work. Nelson is sidelined until further notice because of cracked ribs he sustained in the wild-card playoff win over the New York Giants last Sunday. "He's making progress," McCarthy said. "It's a three-day plan, and we'll evaluate (him) on Friday." The Packers don't practice Friday, but McCarthy hasn't ruled out Nelson from taking part in the team's workout Saturday before the club departs for Dallas. McCarthy previously said Nelson would need to practice Saturday to have any shot to play Sunday in the divisional-round game against the top-seeded Cowboys.

Jan 11 2017 - James Starks
RB James Starks continues to be sidelined indefinitely. "He hasn't made progress," head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday. The veteran has missed the last four games because of a concussion.
